I have been training and showing dogs for 16 years. I have experience teaching group classes and teach using positive training methods. My main teaching philosophy is to provide the foundation for every pet or competitive sports dog in order for them to succeed and thrive in their environments for years to come. I love teaching and watching both the handler and dogs grow and become a great working team.

In addition to teaching I am an American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator which allows me to test teams for S.T.A.R. Puppy, all levels of Canine Good Citizen (CGC), and the AKC Trick Dog program. I am a Certified Trick Dog Instructor (CTDI) through the Do More With Your Dog (DMWYD) organization which allows me to test dogs for all levels of Trick Dog titles through this organization. I am an AKC Fit Dog Level 3 Instructor and a Canine Conditioning Fitness Coach (CCFC) certified through the Do More With Your Dog organization which allows me to offer classes and test dogs for canine conditioning fitness titles through both organizations. I am also certified as a DMWYD Animal Actor Certified Evaluator (AACE) which allows me to offer classes which prepare dogs to be in photo shoots, commercials, movies, etc. 

On my own dogs I have earned AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC, CGCA), Therapy Dog International (TDI), Rally Obedience (RN, RA, RE, RAE, RM), Beginner Novice (BN), Preferred Novice (PCD), Novice (CD), Preferred Open (PCDX) obedience, Trick Dog (TKN, TKNM, TKI, TKIM, TKA, TKE, TKP, TDCH) titles from both AKC and Do More With Your Dog (DMWYD) trick dog organizations, DMWYD Stunt Dog titles (Novice, Open) DMWYD Canine Conditioning Fitness titles (CCF1, CCF2, CCF3) and AKC Fit Dog Bronze titles with my Bichon Frises (Benny, Dino & Clay). In addition, I have earned a Championship in Conformation on my dog Dino. Dino also earned Fenzi Team Level I Obedience Title.
 
My dogs have previously earned High Combined in Rally Advanced and Rally Excellent and High Combined Triple Qualifying in Rally Masters, Rally Excellent and Rally Advanced. My Bichon Frise Dino was the #1 Bichon Frise in the country in Rally obedience in 2017 and he was invited to compete in the AKC Rally National Championship 2018 and 2021. My Bichon Frise Clay was the #3 Bichon Frise in the country in 2019 and was invited to compete in the AKC Rally National Championship in 2020 and 2021.
